| Teac concentrates on Design | |
| 03 July 2008 TEAC has expanded its ‘Design Audio Series’ with the SP-X2i – an iPod docking system with ultra-thin, lightweight speakers that can be easily moved around the home or mounted on walls. To achieve this, the company has employed NXT technology, which claims to deliver the same audio quality as a cone speaker but in a slim, flat panel design. The SP-X2i also consists of a 4in active subwoofer and slim line remote control, which controls both the system and the iPod functions, including menu operation. It also features two auxiliary inputs and comes with iPod adapters. The anticipated retail price is around £99.
