SEBO has expanded its collection of pet-oriented vacuum cleaners with a third model, which is designated the X4 Pet.

According to the company, demand for these type of cleaners is growing rapidly, with half of UK households now owning at least one pet – and usually a hair-shedding dog or cat.

The appliance combines a 1,300 watt motor with an S-Class filtration system, which ensures fine dust particles are firmly retained inside the machine and not released back into the room.

Sebo claims that this is the highest level of filtration possible – earning the model the British Allergy Foundation Seal of Approval.

It also uses activated carbon to eliminate any odours.

Among the accessories that come with the X4 Pet are a stair and upholstery turbo brush for small or awkward areas, a crevice nozzle for hard to reach places, an upholstery nozzle and a dusting brush.

Weighing just 7·4kg, the lightweight black and silver cleaner is also very easy to manoeuvre around the home.

It is expected to retail for around £279.
